Clothing business re-Branding, in other words giving a new life to a logotype is always a great adventure. Fake Koala is a funky brand for teenagers and young adults.
The Logotype of Fake Koala was drawn digitally but with just the mouse, which gives it some unpretty lignes. The brand was considering it to be the special touche. As it was created at the beginning of the 2000s it was still acceptable.
Later on (in 2015) the brand start to be more popular. And the re-branding was inevitable to stay updated in the world of high concurrence.
Famesolutely team didn’t changed the formes, but given to it some colours and a more comics look shape. As the the customer persona were young people between 16-30 y.o. the comic look fitted perfectly.
For clothing business the logotype should be easily recognisable and look nice on clothes. We offered 3 options: a black and white logo, a colourful on a white background, and a logotype on a colourful background. The beige colour was used as one of the corporate colours.
We also changed the font on a more modern one, and easy to read.
