Chinese Market: Emerge​ in their culture

When the Chinese market is the major source of Guests for a luxury villa, you need to get special, especially for the most special day.

Exclusive for our client Samui Turquoise Villas, a luxury holiday villa located on Koh Samui Island. Indeed the majority of clients were from China, every year we created unique greeting cards.

The idea was to represent the symbols of the New Year (Chinese Lunar New Year), but only by using the logotype of the villa. The Lunar new year is a important celebration for Chinese market.

Indeed the Chinese zodiac is a classification scheme that assigns an animal and its reputed attributes to each year in a repeating 12-year cycle. The 12-year cycle is an approximation to the 11.85-year orbital period of Jupiter. Based in China, the zodiac and its variations remain popular in many Asian countries and regions, such as Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. As an illustration of the year you were born. In Chinese astrology the animal signs assigned by year represent how others perceive you or how you present yourself. It is a common misconception that the animals assigned by year are the only signs. And many Western descriptions of Chinese astrology draw solely on this system.

These greeting cards were created in 3 formats, for a newsletter, and a social media post of two types.
