Wellness branding: How to make customers feel relaxed and healthy?
Branding, by definition, is a marketing practice in which a company creates a name, symbol, or design that is easily identifiable as belonging to the company. This helps to identify a product and distinguish it from other products and services.
Feelhappylogy is our client for a full marketing and management solution. In the first place, Feelhappylogy is a brand for a FNB marketing solution client’s restaurant.
It all started with a project of coloring pages for adults. This kind of art is considered to have a therapeutic effect and will help you to calm down and relax. The project was created to grow the sales of a restaurant, as printed colored pages were sold by 5 and 10 pages sets and were perfectly reflecting the relaxing and lay down atmosphere of the restaurant.
Despite the closing of the restaurant, the brand was so popular, that it still continues its life. From a zen mandala coloring page brand, it grows into a project that unifies information about happiness, and holistic living, as well as a possibility to book special retreats, eco-hotels, glamping, and specially selected activities which are good for our health. For this next level, Feelhappylogy needed a rebranding.
The new wellness branding
The creation of the new wellness branding started with a logotype. The logo is the most important thing in a brand’s visual identity and it’s like the signature of the company.
For the logotype’s color scheme we’ve chosen a pink coral color. Women make 80% of the health care decisions for their families. So we decided the branding to be feminine, but not girly as it could look in a pink or magenta color.
For the font, we’ve chosen a more modern font, compared to the previous one. Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface. It is based on geometric shapes, especially circles. The circle is also a part of the icon of the logotype.
As the brand is not only about wellness retreats and a holistic way of living, but also about spirituality, we’ve found our inspiration in a sacred geometry symbol – the « Seed of life ».
The Seed of Life is a symbol for the seven days of creation. Many sites and major religions include this symbol. The symbol is found in Synagogues, Churches, Kabbalah prayer books, and of course, the ancient Osirian Temple in Abydos Egypt, the source of all the major religions and mystical studies.

The Brand book, which is also called brand guidelines or style guide, is a set of rules that explain how your brand works, which are your main brand elements, brand strategy, and what is the main goal of your brand. Brand books influence every marketing campaign, communication, and product/service.
