Asking yourself how to save on towel, detergent, water, labor, utility, and laundry expenses!? Reduce wear and tear on towels and on laundry equipment? Just ask your guests to consider reusing towels and turn off the lights!
Hotels use a lot of water — for guest rooms, pools, landscaping, laundry, and other uses. In total, this accounts for about 15 percent of total water use in US commercial and institutional facilities, according to the EPA.

For this project, we created a special Eco logo and had made several social media posts to highlight that the villas are eco-friendly.
What kind of Eco media design we used?
- Remind to reuse towels
- To not flush paper in the toilet
- Asking to turn off the lights and air-conditioning
Which other Eco media design ideas are a good idea?
- Ask to recycle (And provide a place for recycled items)
- Sheet change card (to change the sheets only when the guest want to. "if the card is left on your pillow in the morning, your sheets should NOT be changed that day".)
- Room cleaning (The card on the door, that so many people like to steal)
- Help card (these cards work for you by allowing a guest to easily report a problem, and engineering to efficiently resolve the problem. )
How to make is even more effective?
Many villas and hotels have a special market, with a majority of guests speaking the same languages. To surprise them, keep sets of cards in different languages and change them before the guests' check-in.
Use eco-materials to print the media or use a recycled frame. Make it a part of the interior design.
